Our Special Guest: Caroline Collins

Caroline Collins is a powerhouse in broadcast journalism and a passionate advocate for golf, education, and opportunity. With nearly a decade of on-air experience, Caroline has delivered the news to millions across the country — from the rolling hills of Western Pennsylvania and the heart of Ohio to Central California and now the thriving metropolis of Houston, Texas. She currently anchors the prime-time weeknight newscasts at FOX 26 (KRIV), serving viewers in the 6th largest local news market in the country.
Her journey in journalism began at WJET in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she first stepped into the world of professional broadcasting. From there, she continued to grow her career in Youngstown, Ohio, as a weekend anchor and weeknight reporter at 21 WFMJ. During her time there, she delivered high-impact stories that deeply resonated with the community — including the closure of the Lordstown GM plant and the tragic death of a Girard police officer.
Caroline’s unique ability to connect with audiences — both on-screen and online — truly came to life when she relocated to Central California to become the morning news anchor at KSEE 24 in Fresno. Her behind-the-scenes content, breaking news updates, and real-time storytelling led to massive social media growth. Today, she reaches millions, with an incredible 1.6 million followers on TikTok alone.

Since joining FOX 26 Houston, Caroline has made an indelible mark, including an exciting interview with Olympic champion Simone Biles following her 2024 Olympic triumph, and live reporting during the deadly Kerrville floods on July 4, 2025.
Outside the newsroom, Caroline’s lifelong passion for golf shines. A former collegiate athlete, she earned a full golf scholarship to Point Park University in Pittsburgh, where she played all four years while studying journalism.
Now, she co-hosts “The Swing Clinic,” recently filmed “Life On Par” in Pittsburgh — which aired ahead of the U.S. Open — and is the upcoming host of the high-stakes golf competition series, “Blazin’ Aces,” where influencers compete for a championship title.
Caroline graduated with a Bachelor’s in Broadcast Journalism in 2015 and earned a Master’s degree in Communication Technology with a social media focus in 2019, both from Point Park University. A proud native of West Middlesex, Pennsylvania, she never strays far from her roots.
She’s especially passionate about using golf as a platform to support education. Caroline is deeply honored to help raise funds in memory of Dr. Carolyn Clemenza and Dr. Mariann Clemenza, two extraordinary women whose legacy continues to uplift others. As the daughter of a longtime speech pathologist and healthcare professional, Linda Collins, Caroline has seen firsthand the impact of education and specialized training — and she’s committed to helping the next generation of professionals succeed.
When she’s not on air or on the course, she loves returning to the Shenango Valley, enjoying Italian food, sharing laughs and golf rounds with her dad — PGA Professional Bobo Collins — and spending time with family and lifelong friends.
